So, I've decided that starting a blog is the most sensible way of keeping the most amount of people informed and keeping a travel journal. I cannot guarantee how much I will actually use it, but I'm going to make an attempt. I would just like to say that the theme to this blog is mainly because this is an opportunity to get my inner-nerd out there, not because I feel like I am in Middle Earth. I have been pretty intentional about this from the beginning of my journey a year ago. Those who know me well know that I relate most of my life to LotR (which seems sad now that it's said), so this was just the best way to provide some entertainment for my fellow geeks, be myself and provide a lens for you to understand what I am experiencing.
